Verify a piece by its certificate serial.
Every piece in the catalog ships with a printed certificate serial. Enter it below to see the authentication record — the piece, the date it was verified, and the tier we recorded against it.
Numbers only is fine. Include the leading “#” if you copied it from the receipt — we accept both.
Find the serial on the receipt or the packing slip included with your order.
What the A / B / C badges actually mean
Every verified piece carries exactly one tier — the strongest label our evidence supports. The definitions below are what each tier requires to be issued.
Tier A · Verified Authentic
Direct-from-brand sourcing plus independent authentication. The strongest provenance we issue.
- Sourced direct from the brand or an authorised distributor
- Authenticated by a third-party luxury authenticator
- In-house physical inspection on intake
Tier B · Verified Inspection
Inspection-led authentication without a brand-direct chain of custody.
- Authenticated by a third-party luxury authenticator
- In-house physical inspection on intake
Tier C · Refurbished
Restored to retail-equivalent condition by a specialist before it enters the catalog.
- Specialist refurbishment to retail-grade condition
- Photographed at intake and again at refurbishment completion
Every verified item carries at least one authentication tag
An item can earn multiple tags. The tags below describe what was actually checked — not a vague promise.
Authentic sourcing
Direct-from-brand sourcing with chain-of-custody documentation backing every item.
Expert verified
A third-party luxury authenticator inspects the item against brand-specific markers.
In-house inspected
Our fulfillment team performs a physical inspection: stitching, hardware, lining, finish.
Refurbished
Restored to retail-equivalent condition by specialists before it enters the catalog.
What happens before an item is eligible to ship
Supplier vetting
Every supplier in the Monarch network is reviewed before their first SKU ships. We log the entity, the country of operation, and the curator responsible for that catalog.
Inspection on intake
When an item arrives at the verified facility, it is photographed, weighed, and checked against the supplier-provided dossier. Every step is timestamped.
Authentication tags
Each item earns one or more authenticity tags — Authentic, Expert Verified, In-House Inspected, Refurbished — that describe what was checked.
Approved to ship
Only items with a completed authentication trail appear in the catalog and are eligible for fulfillment.
What happens if an item fails authentication
Failures are rare, but the plan for one matters more than the day-to-day happy path. Here's exactly what we do.
- 1
Item is removed from the catalog
The listing disappears from the storefront so no further orders can be placed against it.
- 2
Full refund issued automatically
If an order already exists, the buyer receives a full refund — no restocking fees, no return shipping.
The failure is logged
Both the item and the supplier record are flagged. Repeated patterns trigger a supplier review.
The catalog is the proof — not the page you're reading
Every claim on this page is anchored in the inspection trail of a real product. Browse the catalog to see it in action.
